"Without these services, which will be provided by Crnogorski Telekom, the organization of such events is impossible. A service like this would cost us around 50 thousand euros, and we will receive it through cooperation with a powerful company such as Telekom. The connection between Telekom and MOC is a long-lasting one. Telekom was our partner in the first, historic Olympics in Beijing 2008, and this cooperation is something we are especially grateful for, something we value highly and will always remember”, said Dusan Simonovic, President of MOC.
Telekom representatives stated that this partnership, in one of the most important sports events in Montenegro, is seen as a continuation of good and successful cooperation. Telekom is a company that pays special attention to the development of sports as a prerequisite for a healthy society, as they have shown in the past by supporting the Montenegrin Olympic and the most successful Montenegrin athletes.
"Telekom has a long tradition of supporting Montenegrin sport. This time, as the official network of Games, we provided technical support in order to organize this very demanding event at the highest level. We are particularly pleased to put our resources at the service of sport and European promotion of Montenegro. It is important to emphasize that this is a continuation of partnership with MOC as an organization that recognizes the importance of the so-called ‘green technology’ and smart solutions, whose development is currently in the focus of our company. The mutual application of smart technologies is necessary for the successful sustainable development of Montenegro", said Predrag Perkovic, Director of the business sector in Crnogorski Telekom.
Center of the events during the Games of the Small States of Europe will be in Budva, while some competitions will be organized in Bar, Tivat, Cetinje and Podgorica. Nine countries participate in the Games, with athletes competing in ten sports.
